Morning Yoga with Brady Blasdel
Quiet Soul Yoga…
integrates slow-flow Hatha yoga with mindfulness, breath control, long poses, and smooth movements. Hatha yoga's slow and deliberate steady poses strengthen the mind, body, and soul via its postures, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. It is suitable for both beginning and advanced students.
A typical one-hour class begins with reflection, deep breathing, and stretching. Afterward, there are various poses that you will be guided into performing. The class will end with a few deep relaxing stretches and poses.
Your certified yoga instructor Brady Blasdel offers five different variations:
Rise & Shine
yoga is an energetic and heart-pumping early-morning yoga for students desiring to start the day with energy, power, and a bright focus
Strengthen & Tone
yoga uses challenging standing, balancing, and sitting poses to increase the strength and flexibility of the major muscle groups and joints
Restorative
yoga aims to relax, restore, and rejuvenate the body, mind, and soul. It is a passive, meditative style of yoga that holds poses for a longer duration using props. Participants will need to bring a yoga bolster or heavy blanket.
Chair
yoga is designed for more mature students desiring to improve flexibility and core strength from assisted standing and seated positions. Chairs will be provided; no mats will be used.
Christian Reflective
yoga combines Strengthen & Tone yoga with Restorative yoga positions. During the various poses, students will also be guided as they reflect on various teachings from the Bible and their meaning for us today.
Pricing:
Each session - $10
Monthly all-access pass - $80
Donation jar will be provided for cash (not monitored; honor-system); QR code and website for digital payment option
